Thanks Alex for a wonderful post. I'm glad to have the true story of the Chess Cookies out there for all to see. After you and Wendy left, I noticed that Dusty Baker was truly dusty. He's been hanging around the flour in my kitchen a little too long, but he's cleaned up now and ready for another batch of Chess Cookies.
