A heartfelt thank you to all of you for your interest in our ongoing home renovations! Over the past 8+ years of restoring and renovating our 1880s row house in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, we’ve often been asked “How do you know how to do that?”, “Where did you buy that?”, “How did you get the idea?”, and our personal favorite, “How have you not killed one another during the process?”

This blog will attempt to answer those questions, and feature ongoing projects, sources of inspiration and design tips and tricks to achieve the look you want in your space.

So here’s an official welcome to our home. Come on in and make yourself comfortable!
