Wendy and I are celebrating my Irish heritage (on my Mother's side) and having a wonderful St. Patrick's Day. We kicked it off with a 9:00am trip to one of our neighborhood Irish Pubs (we have four to choose from) to celebrate the day and a friend's birthday with a few beers...

...And some Irish pub songs.

We're wrapping up the day at another friend's party and a bit O' baking. Can you say Irish Car Bomb cupcakes?

If you're around Old Town, keep an eye out for us tonight, we may see you along King Street. We hope you're having a wonderful St. Patrick's day wherever you are and that your weekend is filled with fun and/or productive projects. We'll see what we can get done around this place tomorrow. Until then, we partay!

I am so jealous right now. Murphy's was my favorite bar in old town. I loved it during NFL season as it was a Patriots spot. Enjoy! Have a Smithwicks for me.

Oh I did indeed. Drank some Smithwicks and gutted our newly purchased homes kitchen. Had lots of help though, so it was all done in a short amount of time. Amazing how fast it comes down. Now I hope it will go back up just as quickly...

Happy Monday!

Link or receipe for the Car Bomb Cupcakes? Please?

Gosh, I miss the local Irish Pub with it's folk singer. I'm hoping like crazy that the zoning issues get resolved and a new owner found.

Hoisting a Guinness back at ya'. (I love dark beer.)

Hi Karla,
I'll try to do a little write up on it this week. They were SUPER labor intensive, but were devoured in three minutes (no joke) of us arriving at the party. :-)

Hahaha! I'm so glad at least one person wasn't judging us for our 9am drankin'! :-)
